Don Simpson’s fatal flaw(s)
The man had so many flaws it’s hard to pick just one.
He was aggressive, shallow, arrogant, boorish, greedy, selfish, reckless, loud, brash. He was a wild man, a bad man. Maybe they’re all the same flaw.
He badly wanted to be famous. He badly wanted to be loved (which might just be everyone’s fatal flaw).
He couldn’t give any love. He couldn’t give up drugs. He couldn’t grow. (Well, he certainly grew psychically. But he couldn’t grow spiritually. He couldn’t change. He couldn’t transform. He couldn’t transcend. Maybe that’s what happens when you die. You see your life flash before your eyes until you finally learn the lesson you were supposed to in this life so you can move onto your next life.)
He loved prostitutes. (Is that actually a bad thing?)
He couldn’t love himself. Which is actually a bad thing.
He hated himself.
