Bruce Mau knows inspiration must always be the starting point.

Inspiration springs from the belief that anything is possible - that the most challenging problems can be solved.

This belief will sometimes appear irrational. And it needs to be. There’s a place for reason in design, but not at the beginning.

We need to set out with a childlike conviction that anything we can imagine, we can manifest.
