When you work for money, your work will lack life and empathy and energy.

It will be flat and lifeless. It may tick the boxes and answer the brief. But that’s not the point.

Without any love for what you do in and of itself, your work will lack energy. People will instinctively feel that lack of life.

Put love into everything you do. Make something that someone else might actually care about.

Something that someone else will love.
