It’s as if the building is absorbing the sun.

Upholding a city corner, a three story mercantile building constructed from solid blocks of sandstone a century and a half ago. The setting sun slants in from the horizon, sleeting the entire facade in light.

Looming corinthian columns, delicate cornices. Quoins, lintels, sills.

All ablaze with radiant sunlight.
