# Scenes from the coast: Shearer

It’s an A4 sheet of white card nailed to a tree in the paddock by the side of the road.

It’s at an odd angle. The word ‘Shearer’ is scrawled by hand in red with what you presume is a name and phone number underneath.

But it’s too hard to make out because you’re driving too fast.

And it’s too far away.
