Decarbonization time

The CO2 level in our atmosphere now measures 413.61 ppm (parts per million).

This time last year atmospheric CO2 was 411.38 ppm. This time 25 years ago it was 360 ppm.

At the current rate of increase, we’ll pass the 450 ppm carbon threshold in just 3,182 days. Which is less than nine years away.

What happens when we reach the 450ppm threshold? A catastrophic and irreversible explosion in global heating.

Essentially it’s going to be hell on earth.

Unless we turn it around.
