How not to become a Nazi

Freedom makes most people uncomfortable.

Unless we have the aspirations and talents to make something of ourselves, freedom is a burden. It weighs on us, on our individual responsibility.

That’s why most people seek a mass. We join mass movements to escape individual responsibility.

It’s why ardent young Nazis would chant ‘to be free from freedom, to be free at last’.

Don’t become a Nazi. Don’t join the masses.

Stand up for your personal freedom.

Stand up for yourself.
