It’s not meant to be hard and fast. It’s not meant to be self-determined.

Computer software is meant to be soft. It’s meant to be giving, permeable, squishy. It’s not meant to have solid, defined edges. Not meant to be trapped within a frame. Not meant to be a sequence of definitive events.

Open, free, unlimited. This is how we should be thinking and imagining any media we’re creating that lives on and through the web. Lives on and through electricity. Ultimately it’s all software.
