Perfect draft

Here’s the thing about writing a draft.

It’s not supposed to be perfect. It’s not supposed to be error-free.

It’s supposed to be full of mistakes and literally one fuck up after the other. That’s the fun part.

Let it out. Let it all tumble out. Let it land wherever it wants to land.

A perfect draft is full of perfect mistakes. Every mistake is perfect because it takes you one step further. Each mistake is a chance to learn and refine and move forward.

The sooner you start writing a draft the sooner you’ll get to where you want to go.
