Three things I saw today

It’s funny what you see when you look.

The first thing I saw today was a large dog, loping down the city street. Long, wild stride like some wolf. Manic look in its eyes as it flew past the town houses and apartment blocks.

The second thing was a Hare Krishna on a worn skateboard, kicking across a busy crossroad. Orange gown flapping wildly behind him. Shaved head with two streaks of white sandalwood paste on his forehead. Close necklace of small Tulasi beads over three strings. Sandals gripping the top of the skateboard.

The third thing was a young woman on the train with a deep blue tattoo on her forearm. She looks suburban but the tattoo depicts a wolf in the wild.
